The Chevy Camaro started production way back in September 1966 for the 1967 model year and was designed to give the Mustang some competition. Production ended in 2002 for some reason unknown to me and many of us who loved this car. I've had the pleasure of owning both a five liter Mustang GT and a Chevy Camaro RS and while the Stang had more power, the Camaro got me more attention for it's distinctive looks and styling. Of course if you wanted more power the Camaro Z-28 would give you plenty to play with. In 2009 Chevy brought the Camaro back for the 2010 model year and when I first laid eyes on this bad boy at an auto show I knew it was going to be a winner. The Camaro is offered only as a couple but has various engine packages to choose from such as a 3.6 L 220 cu in V6 producing 312 horses or you can go with an SS model that has a 426 hp V8 and a six speed manual transmission. New for 2011 will be a convertible and also a state of the art heads up display that will project important performance information onto the windshield. The Chevy Camaro is back and is looking sexy as ever, especially the two we have here for you to check out.
