Plymouth Superbird

Welcome to the Plymouth Superbird page for the Hot Cars and Hot Girls website. This 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird was a highly modified version of the Plymouth Roadrunner. They were only produced for the 1970 model year as a direct follow up design from the factory to the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona that was used for Stock Car racing that season. They incorporated minor and major changes to the designed and it was rumored that this car was also designed to help lure back Driver Richard Petty to Plymouth. Superbird's were very noticeable thanks to the protruding nosecones and high mounted rear wing. The nosecone added 19 inches to the length of the car and the height of the wing which for years was thought to be the result of a complex mathematical formula, was actually placed that height so the trunk could open freely. This Superbird was provided to us by Don Jones of American Muscle Street Rods & Classics out of Loveland Ohio.
